Tripadvisor/Viator
As both Senior Visual Designer and then Principal Visual Designer my job was to design and execute a cohesive creative vision for Tripadvisor Experiences and Viator. When I arrived at Viator, little attention had been paid to the overall voice that we were using to communicate with our travelers. Over the next 2 years, I sought to streamline our design and unify our voice. This meant working with Product Design as well as Coding/Engineering to make sure that all brand touchpoints were cohesive.
In this time, I worked on both a brand modernization (Fall 2019) and a full brand redesign (Winter/Spring 2020).

NORTHERN LIGHTS landing pages
As part of a campaign to educate customers about how to best see the Northern Lights in Iceland, I created landing page templates that incorporated product information and editorial content written by a freelance writer.
Project Boomerang Laptop Sticker
Laptop stickers are a large part of the culture at Tripadvisor. Many teams will produce stickers for projects or big milestones that they would like to acknowledge. For the team that was working on the resuscitation of the Viator app, they wanted a sticker that showcased the work that they were doing while joking about how the project was like a boomerang - it always came back. Because the work was being spearheaded out of the Sydney office, I wanted to tap into a 1980s Bondi Beach surfer vibe for the final creative. However, as you can see, there were many other designs considered during the project.

The design was getting closer
This was a personal favorite, if only because it references “The Princess Bride”

Iconography
These icons were designed for Viator’s Things To Do pages. They were designed to illustrate the top things to do in each featured destination. Each icon was designed to not only be informational but to show a touch of whimsy. Some were very easy to conceptualize (airport pickup), while others required many design iterations (cabaret).
